Red Female Troll
World of Warcraft (you know, Blizzard’s other massively popular franchise, along with Diablo), is referred to several times in Starcraft 2. First off, when you on are on the ship’s cantina, look in the upper left and you will see a holograph of a red female troll doing a dance. The dance is the same one that female night elves from World of Warcraft do!
LVL80ETC Blizzard Band
In addtion, when you are doing a Protoss mission you can watch the television and might see an advertisement for the “LVL800ETC” which contains heaps of songs. The songs are in fact from a metal band that is named “LVL80ETC”, and the band is actually made up of several employees from Blizzard itself. All their music is about either Warcraft or Starcraft, and the lead singer is the head of Blizzard’s art department.
Also note that if you look at the collar of Stetmann’s shirt closely, the pattern is actually made up of repeated random horde sigils.
In The mission Piercing the shroud, you can find a Murloc Marine if you look around enough (Can’t remember exactly where it is) But it is in the first part.
On the third mission,(Hour Zero, I’m not rly sure of it’s name in english since my SC2 is in portuguese), there’s a tauren near the middle zerg base (use sawnoutofmemory so you can spot it more easily) called LVL80TSM! in a place that looks like WOW’s barrens. If you click him he’ll say lot’s of stuff (though I don’t know what he says in English). When you get near him he walk into a building that look like a public toilet… And when you click the toilet this appears this message “T minus 3!” If u click again “T minus 2!” again “T minus 1!” and then the building flyes and the message “Secret Found! appears

On the tv in the Campaign, there’s a music commercial. A couple of the songs named are “Rogues Do It From Behind,” and it also listed “Power of the Horde,” or something of the like.
in the skirmish map (biolab) u can see a tauren in the test tubes.
u can also find a few doodads that are reference to transformers and startrek in some 8 player maps
Also the Achievement, “Hurry Up Its Raid Night” (Completing the Campaign in under 8 Hours) is a reference to WoW.
It’s a Night elf with human ears, not a troll…
which would make her a blood elf, yes? like in the first expansion?
I believe its a Night Elf female with human ears in the hologram.
Another reference, the end-campaign mercenary unit ‘Jackson’s Revenge’ says something like “can we get this attack over with, it’s raid night” XD
Only two references found so far… I am sure there must be at least a few more!
